Properties
White alkaline powder, slightly bitter; gradually become calcium carbonate after absorbing carbon dioxide from the air; slightly dissolvable in water (25℃ 0.14/100 water); powerful alkaline; dissolvable in glycerin but not in alcohol; usually exist as impure matters containing micro magnesium oxide, silicic acid and iron oxide. Relative weight: ：2.078; dehydrate and become lime under 580℃.
