Properties
NH4CI Molecular weight: 53.50; colorless and odorless (equal-axis crystal system) with cold salt flavor; unchangeable in the air; Relative weight: 1.53; melting point: 188℃; boiling point: 335℃; can dissolve and sublimate when heated (335℃); water solubility is 20℃; 37.2/100 water (55.2 under 60℃, 77.3  under 100℃); water solution shows weak acidity; soluble in glycerin and liquid ammonium; difficult to solve in methyl alcohol and ethyl alcohol and not soluble in acetone or ether.
